TERMS & CONDITIONS
Last updated: 11 August 2026
Welcome to the Denver Marks Books website and online Academy, operated by Worshippers Connect World Mission and its related ministry and educational platforms.
By accessing this website, creating an account, enrolling in a course, purchasing a product or service, or otherwise using our online platforms, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, please do not use the relevant service or platform.
1. About the Academy
The Academy provides Christian education, ministry training, personal development resources, courses and related educational materials.
Course content is provided for educational, ministry and personal development purposes.
Completion of a course does not automatically constitute a professional qualification, statutory licence, accreditation or registration with a professional regulatory body unless this is expressly stated for that particular course.
2. Student Accounts
Where registration is required, students are responsible for providing accurate information and keeping their login details confidential.
You are responsible for activity conducted through your account.
You must not share your account, password or course access with another person without written permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate an account where there is reasonable evidence of misuse, fraud, unauthorised access or violation of these Terms & Conditions.
3. Course Enrolment
When you enrol in a course, you receive a personal, limited right to access the course content for the period and under the conditions applicable to that course.
Course access may depend on the course purchased, registration status, payment status and other requirements stated on the relevant course page.
We reserve the right to update course content, lessons, assessments or learning materials when reasonably necessary.
4. Course Content and Intellectual Property
Unless expressly stated otherwise, all course materials, videos, written content, workbooks, assessments, graphics, logos, teaching materials and other educational resources provided through the Academy remain the intellectual property of Worshippers Connect World Mission, Denver Marks Ministries, Denver Marks, or the relevant rights holder.
Course materials are provided for the student’s personal educational use.
Students may not:
- Copy or reproduce course materials for commercial purposes
- Sell or redistribute course materials
- Upload course materials to another website or platform
- Share paid course access with another person
- Record or reproduce lessons for unauthorised distribution
- Present another person’s course material as their own
- Remove copyright or ownership notices
Permission may be granted in writing for specific uses.
5. Books and Additional Materials
Where a course refers to a book, workbook or other material, students may be required to obtain or use that material separately unless it is expressly included with the course.
Any prices, availability and purchasing conditions will be communicated through the relevant product or course page.
6. Payments
Where courses or other services are offered for payment, the applicable price will be displayed before the transaction is completed.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers.
We do not ordinarily store complete payment-card information on our own website where payment processing is handled by an external payment provider.
Students are responsible for ensuring that payment information supplied during a transaction is accurate.
7. Refunds and Cancellations
Any applicable refund, cancellation or withdrawal rights will be communicated on the relevant course or product page and will be handled in accordance with applicable South African law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit a consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Terms imposed on consumers must be fair, reasonable and lawful under South African consumer-protection requirements.
8. Academy Availability
We aim to keep the Academy available and functioning properly. However, temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, hosting problems, technical failures, internet connectivity, security incidents or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access at all times.
9. Student Conduct
Students are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and appropriately when using the Academy, participating in discussions, submitting assignments or interacting with instructors and other students.
Students must not use the Academy for unlawful activities, harassment, abuse, fraud, unauthorised access, distribution of harmful material or any activity that interferes with the operation of the platform.
10. Assessments and Course Completion
Where a course includes quizzes, assignments, workbook exercises, reflection questions, declarations or other completion requirements, students may be required to complete those requirements before the course is considered complete.
Where applicable, a certificate of completion may be issued after the stated requirements have been satisfied.
A certificate of completion should not be represented as a professional licence, statutory qualification or external accreditation unless the course is specifically accredited or registered as such.
11. Certificates
Where certificates are issued, they may contain the student’s name, course title, completion date and other relevant course information.
Certificates may be withheld or revoked where there is evidence of academic dishonesty, fraudulent activity, unauthorised sharing of course materials or other serious violations of these Terms & Conditions.
12. Educational and Ministry Disclaimer
The Academy provides educational and ministry-related content.
Course content should not be understood as a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, financial or other regulated professional advice.
Where a student requires professional assistance, the student should consult an appropriately qualified professional.
13. Privacy
Personal information submitted through the website or Academy is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it may be used and the rights available to individuals under applicable privacy law.
South African privacy law, including POPIA, regulates the lawful processing of personal information.

15. Website Content
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information published on the website is accurate and useful.
However, information may occasionally contain errors, omissions or outdated material.
We reserve the right to correct, update or change website content without prior notice where reasonably necessary.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be responsible for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including interruptions to internet services, hosting failures, third-party service failures or unauthorised access caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our services, Academy, website, technology or applicable legal requirements.
The updated version will be published on this page with a revised date.
18. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Applicable South African legislation may include the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, the Consumer Protection Act and the Protection of Personal Information Act, depending on the nature of the particular transaction or service.
